In 2015, BFBLGLV partnered with the Northampton County Department of Community and Economic Development and United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley to launch the first SNAP incentive program in the region using a Food Insecurity Nutrition Incentive (FINI) program grant from USDA’s National Institute for Food and Agriculture. Today, BFBLGLV partners with many community stakeholders including the Kellyn Foundation, Two Rivers Health and Wellness Foundation, Lehigh Valley Health Network and St. Luke’s University Health Network to bring the program to Lehigh Valley residents.
